3d Ultra-fast Manufactured Micro Coils on Polymer or Metal Cores
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present high aspect ratio 3D solenoidal micro coils manufactured in a serial, high speed and fully MEMS compatible winding procedure using an automatic wire bonder. The coils are wound on steel, glass, or polymer cores with a diameter ranging from 100 μm to 1 mm. The applications of these coils are manifold: as semi-integrated inductors for electronics, for energy harvesting purposes, and for sensors and actuators.

متن کاملUltra-Fast Image Reconstruction of Tomosynthesis Mammography Using GPU
Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) is a technology that creates three dimensional (3D) images of breast tissue. Tomosynthesis mammography detects lesions that are not detectable with other imaging systems. If image reconstruction time is in the order of seconds, we can use Tomosynthesis systems to perform Tomosynthesis-guided Interventional procedures. This research has been designed to study u...
متن کامل3D Microtomographic Characterization of Precision Extruded Poly- -caprolactone Scaffolds
One of the dominant approaches to tissue engineering is the seeding of biodegradable, biocompatible polymer scaffolds with progenitor cells prior to 3D culture or implantation. The microarchitecture of these scaffolds has direct effects upon the ability of cells to attach, migrate, and differentiate. Microtomographic (micro-CT) scanners enable high-speed 3D characterization of the salient featu...

متن کاملA digital micro-mirror device-based system for the microfabrication of complex, spatially patterned tissue engineering scaffolds.
Our ability to create precise, pre-designed, spatially patterned biochemical and physical microenvironments inside polymer scaffolds could provide a powerful tool in studying progenitor cell behavior and differentiation under biomimetic, three-dimensional (3D) culture conditions. We have developed a simple and fast, layer-by-layer microstereolithography system consisting of an ultra-violet ligh...
